Ever since Dave saw Legendary Group Status Quo at the age of 12 he has wanted to play music, but never got around to it. He only picked up the guitar a few years ago at Rick Steele's music workshop to sing a few tunes here & there.

Dave says " I bitten by the bug! Music & songs are running round in my head all day! The decision to go from the drums to being out front was obviously the right decision!" He still drums occasionally for Rick Steele'sBambun Blues band, a gig he loves. " Rick tests me every gig, he keeps me on my toes & teaches me to think on my feet "

Dave started writing his own songs in 2004 and had an entry \in the 2004 WAMI awards. Now with On The Levels new CD " Blues in E " Daves writing is full steam ahead "Recording the CD has me hooked, I love the recording process I already have songs ready for our next CD due for release at the 2007 Bridgetown Blues Festival "

His other musical influences are: David Lee Roth, Van Halen, Foreigner, Boston, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, The Sleepy Jackson & Heart .

As well as Playing with On The Level & Rick Steele Dave has ventured further with his own Duo / Trio, The Motif ( new young players ) & Country Band " The Loose Noose" projects. . .
