Originally from London U.K.where he played with Marty Wilde and the Wildcats and Screaming Lord Sutch as well as his own band Blues By Five
Which had an underground hit with the John Lee Hooker song Boom Boom Boom in the 60s on Decca records. Arriving in the late 60s in Australia Bill joined a Melbourne band Cam-Pact who had a string of hits and appeared on the very popular TV show Happening 70 on a regular basis.
In 1970 Bill came to Perth and joined the very popular showband The Troupadores. And stayed with them until they broke up for the first time in the 80s. They toured Australia and Asia incessantly and were very popular on the Gold Coast where thry lived For the next 10yrs he worked in the record industry then returned to Perth and the reformed Troupadores, with whom he still occasionally plays.
Bill has also worked with many artists including Jeff st John recording his come back album and touring germany. He has also toured with Dave Hole, Eugene Hideaway Bridges and Powershift. He has done many recording sessions and is well known for his soulful voice and bluesy keyboards.
The tail end of 2007 has seen him playing & recording the New On The Level Album " Bottom of the bottle" 2008 see's him being very busy !
